Position Overview We are seeking a passionate Social Media Coordinator with a focus on content creation, community engagement, and strong organizational skills. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving social media landscape, have a sharp eye for detail, and stay up-to-date with the latest trends. As a key member of our team, you will support social accounts’ community engagement, content creation, scheduling, and reporting while also ensuring the smooth execution of daily tasks. This role offers the opportunity to work with renowned brands in the hospitality sector and contribute directly to their growth. This is an entry-level position.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Support: Act as the operational support for the social media team, keeping tasks organized and ensuring client accounts are updated and engaged. Provide backup during content shoots, client meetings, or events.
Client Engagement & Content Assistance: Provide ongoing support for client accounts, handling community management and engagement through comments, messages, and monitoring interactions.
Content Creation: Develop engaging content that sparks conversation and boosts brand awareness. You will have experience filming, editing, and posting short-form videos, including TikToks and Instagram Reels, to bring fresh ideas to life.
Trend Spotting: Keep a pulse on social media trends and culture. Ideate new content ideas, implement trends into client content calendars, and use this knowledge to drive engagement.
Organizing & Reporting: Manage digital asset libraries, assist with content calendars, and prepare monthly performance reports, pulling key metrics and insights to inform future campaigns.
Asset Management: Maintain a well-organized content library, ensuring that photos, videos, and graphics follow proper naming conventions and are stored correctly for easy retrieval.
Collaborating & Execution: Work closely with social media managers, directors, and other team members to align content with client strategies and business objectives. Assist in implementing creative campaigns with a focus on high-quality execution.
Client Communication Support: Help manage client communications by organizing follow-up emails, scheduling meetings, and assisting with reporting and content approvals.

Experience: 1-2 years in social media coordination or a related field, ideally in an agency setting.
Skills: Strong copywriting, organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook).
Social Media Savvy: Up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media.
Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and excellent project management skills in a fast-moving environment.
Adaptable: Comfortable working on multiple client accounts at once and responding to changing priorities.
Passion for the Hospitality Industry: Enthusiastic about creating social media campaigns for hospitality and lifestyle brands.
Creative Eye: Ability to develop visually appealing content and adapt content to fit brand standards.
Familiarity with Software & Tools: Experience with project management tools like Asana and social media management platforms like Sprout Social, Canva, Adobe Suite, and Meta Business Suite.
Analytics Skills: Familiarity with Google Analytics for tracking and optimizing performance metrics is a strong plus.

Location
Candidates must reside in Austin, TX, at the time of application. While we operate in a hybrid model, this role requires in-person collaboration and attendance at client events.

Salary range for this role:
$45,000 – $48,000, commensurate with experience.
