Colton House Hotel opened quietly on one of the most well-known streets in Austin, Texas – but just slightly off the beaten path. So we created a PR strategy that would not only build awareness within the community but also position Colton House as a destination for neighboring drive markets across Texas.
Resplendent applied traditional PR tactics to the hotel’s campaign, capitalizing on the hotel’s many amenities – expertly designed rooms with bespoke furnishings and decor, Texas-sized suites with short- and long-term stay options, its on-site coffee and cocktail bar and its proximity to downtown.
Our campaign led us to secure high-quality stories that are perfectly in line with what Colton House Hotel has to offer. Along with coverage in top Texas outlets like Austin Monthly and statewide subsidiaries of CultureMap, our team has also secured destination pieces in Thrillist and AFAR (syndicated on MSN). We also nominated Colton House for Good Housekeeping’s first-ever Family Travel Awards, earning them a spot on the 2023 destinations list.
