What You’ll Be Doing (Job Tasks)
- Assisting on accounts. Provide ongoing support for account executives, managers and directors on client accounts.
- Recordkeeping. Start and manage administrative details on client accounts.
- Creative thinking. You contribute to the creative of client accounts to increase success KPI and renewals.
- Networking. You network in the Austin community as a representative of Resplendent.
- Community outreach and relations. You’re comfortable with attending client events and documenting, working and ensuring client success, oftentimes with your team but occasionally solo.
- Create client relationships. You’re ready to set up a steady stream of communication with your clients. You anticipate their needs and respond promptly.
- Create accountability. For your client and your team–everyone knows what needs to be done and when.
We’d Love to Hear From You If (Job Requirements)
- 1+ years experience in an agency setting. Keep in mind experience may be commensurate with skill. If you’ve worked internally on a brand (outside an agency) but have a wealth of knowledge – let us know.
- Strong writing and communications skills. You already know AP-style in and out and have lengthy experience in writing in that style, creatively.
- Your excellent written and verbal communication skills are exactly what we need.
- High level of interest in the hospitality industry. You’ve worked in restaurants, or simply just love them. Dining out and the hospitality industry is considered a hobby to you.
- You excel at multitasking. You can manage multiple accounts and teams at once and thrive in that environment.
- Professional attitude. You have previous experience in dealing with clients and colleagues in a workplace setting and aren’t shy or intimidated.
- You’re social media and software savvy. You have a working knowledge of social media platforms and have experience using MuckRack and other pieces of software typically used in PR.
- You have flexibility. You understand that occasional night and weekend work is required working in the hospitality industry and have reliable transportation.
- You live in Austin. You must already be living in Austin at the time of the interview.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
