Role Overview
We’re looking for a Paid Media & Creative Strategist to join our growing team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for someone who not only understands how to run high-performing paid campaigns but also has strong instincts around the creative that drives results.
This person will primarily lead Meta advertising efforts across a range of hospitality, lifestyle, food & beverage, and consumer brands — developing campaign strategies, optimizing performance, and helping shape the creative direction behind the ads themselves.
You don’t need to be a full-time designer or video editor, but you should understand what makes content convert and know how to collaborate with creators, designers, and social teams to continually improve performance.
Experience across Google Ads and additional paid platforms is a strong plus.
Hybrid work, Austin-based.
What You’ll Do
Build, launch, manage, and optimize paid media campaigns primarily across Meta platforms (Facebook + Instagram)
Develop audience targeting, retargeting, and conversion-focused funnel strategies
Analyze campaign performance and proactively optimize toward KPIs including ROAS, CPA, CTR, engagement, and conversions
Develop creative testing strategies and identify winning hooks, messaging, formats, and concepts
Collaborate closely with social, creative, and account teams to develop high-performing ad creative
Write or refine ad copy, headlines, CTAs, and messaging frameworks
Brief creators/designers on performance-driven content needs and creative direction
Monitor trends in paid social, UGC, short-form video, and platform best practices
Manage budgets, pacing, and reporting across multiple client accounts
Deliver clear performance insights and strategic recommendations to internal teams
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of hands-on paid media experience, ideally within an agency environment
Deep expertise managing Meta Ads Manager and scaling campaigns successfully
Strong understanding of performance creative and what drives conversion on social platforms
Experience collaborating with creative teams, content creators, or influencers
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategy
Experience with Google Ads is strongly preferred
Familiarity with GA4, Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager, and reporting tools
Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills
Comfortable managing multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Bonus Points
Hospitality, restaurant, lifestyle, or consumer brand experience
Experience with TikTok Ads, Pinterest Ads, LinkedIn Ads, or YouTube campaigns
Light editing experience in CapCut, Canva, Adobe Express, or similar tools
Understanding of influencer amplification and creator partnerships
Experience with landing page optimization and conversion strategy
