With locations in McKinney and Dallas’s Lower Greenville, Rye is a seasonal, creative American small plates restaurant and cocktail bar that curates a unique dining experience with a locally sourced, handcrafted and rotating menu. Rye incorporates old school hospitality with modern flavors, dishes and unique pairings that are showcased in their ever evolving offerings. 


The Challenge

Resplendent was tasked with introducing Rye – a McKinney-based restaurant – to the Dallas market by developing a public relations campaign to generate buzz around their expansion into the city. Rye’s goal was breaking into Dallas and landing on the area’s “Best Of” lists and getting positive awareness through local media and influencer coverage.

The Solution

With Resplendent’s help, Rye successfully opened in Dallas with a large amount of buzz in the market, and the restaurant was kept almost fully booked every night. Through a local public relations and marketing campaign, Resplendent invited target media and influencers to exclusive preview nights prior to the opening to ensure that press and social posts were generating awareness about Rye’s opening and driving business from day one.
