Position Overview We are seeking a driven PR Account Coordinator with strong writing, organizational, and client service skills. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced agency environment, manage multiple priorities with ease, and bring creative ideas to the table. As a key member of our team, you will support PR accounts through media list building, press outreach, client communications, event support, and reporting. This role offers the opportunity to work with renowned hospitality and lifestyle brands while developing a strong foundation in public relations. This is an entry-level position.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Support client accounts by assisting account executives, managers, and directors.
Manage administrative details and recordkeeping for client projects.
Contribute creative ideas that drive client KPIs and campaign success.
Represent Resplendent in the Austin community by attending events and building connections.
Participate in client events, ensuring on-the-ground support, documentation, and success (sometimes with your team, occasionally solo).
Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and responsiveness.
Track deliverables and deadlines to keep clients and internal teams accountable.
We’d Love to Hear from You If You Have (Job Requirements)
1+ years of experience in PR, marketing, communications, or related work, preferably in an agency or brand environment.
Strong writing and communication skills. You’re confident in AP style and creative copywriting.
Interest in hospitality. You’ve worked in, studied, or simply love the restaurant/bar/hospitality industry.
Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines with ease.
Professional client service experience. You’re comfortable interacting with clients and colleagues.
Media and software savvy. Working knowledge of the latest media or social media trends, plus experience with PR tools like MuckRack is a bonus.
Flexibility for occasional evenings and weekends (hospitality industry = events don’t always happen 9–5).
Reliable transportation for attending client events and community outreach.

Location
Candidates must reside in Austin, TX, at the time of application. While we operate in a hybrid model, this role requires in-person collaboration and attendance at client events.

Salary range for this role:
$45,000 – $47,000, commensurate with experience.
